Two villages, both genuinely Zulu cultural experiences

PheZulu and DumaZulu are separately run cultural villages in different parts of KwaZulu-Natal — both present traditional Zulu village life, artifacts and dance performance to visitors, but they're not the same operation or the same day trip.

Which one should you book?

If you're based in Durban for a shorter stay, PheZulu's Valley of 1000 Hills location keeps the outing to a half-day. If your itinerary already has you heading north toward Hluhluwe or Zululand's game reserves, DumaZulu may fit more naturally into that leg of the trip.
